How to use a release:

set-up the run-time (user) environment on afs:

where <project> is the project (e.g. tdaq or dqm-commnon) and <release> - name of the release you want to use (e.g. tdaq-02-00-03).

starting from tdaq-02-00-03, the production releases are installed in the new location:

> source /afs/cern.ch/atlas/project/tdaq/inst/tdaq/<release>/installed/setup.[c]sh
(where they are updated with new patches in the same way as at P1). Note that this "inst" area also contains a stable nightly installation.
